The cheapest way to get a video for every listing is an AI listing video tool that turns the photos you already have into a short video, on a subscription or per-listing plan. Once you post more than one or two listings a month, published plans work out to roughly $3 to $30 per listing as of October 2026, against a typical $200 for a videographer walkthrough; free routes such as a phone slideshow, a Canva template or filming it yourself cost nothing but your time. VidListings is one of these tools, alongside VideoTour.ai, HomeReel, Reel-E, MotionCasa, Amplifiles and others compared below.

VidListings makes a listing video tool, mentioned below. We've tried to keep this guide useful whether or not you use it.

A videographer is still worth it for luxury, unusual architecture or lifestyle homes, and when you want to be on camera. Our guide to real estate videography covers when to hire and what to ask for. If you're a photographer, see how to offer a listing video add-on from the photos you already shot.

What do AI listing video tools cost per listing?

These figures come only from each tool's published plan prices, as of October 2026. They assume you use every video or credit in the plan.

Tool Published plan (as of October 2026) Illustrative cost per listing Pricing page
VideoTour.ai Independent: $29/month for 10 videos $2.90 videotour.ai/pricing
HomeReel Starter: $39.99/month for 4 videos; Pro: $79.99 for 10 $10.00 on Starter, $8.00 on Pro homereel.app/pricing
vProp Premium: $36/month billed yearly About $12 per video, as the site states vprop.ai/pricing

MotionCasa $19 per listing; $49 for 3; $99 for 7; no subscription $19.00, $16.33 or $14.14 motioncasa.com/pricing
Amplifiles $1.50 per image pay-as-you-go $18 for a 12-photo video amplifiles.ai/pricing
Listing Reel Maker $2.50 per credit (1 credit = 1 photo) $30 for a 12-photo video listingreelmaker.com/pricing
Villenza Agent: $49/month for 1 listing; Top Producer: $99 for 3 $49 or $33 villenza.com/pricing
PropWalk $39 one-off per listing $39 propwalk.io/pricing

Watch the unit. VideoTour.ai and HomeReel count videos, Reel-E and MotionCasa count listings, and Amplifiles and Listing Reel Maker charge per photo, so a longer video costs more. If you make two versions of each listing, such as vertical for Reels and wide for YouTube, a per-video plan uses two videos.

What does it cost at 2, 5 and 10 listings a month?

This table uses monthly billing, one video per listing and 12 photos where a tool charges per photo. Each cell picks the cheapest published plan or pack that covers that volume, as of October 2026.

Route 2 listings/month 5 listings/month 10 listings/month
Videographer walkthrough (PropPhoto typical) $200 each $200 each $200 each
VideoTour.ai, Independent $29 for 10 videos $14.50 each $5.80 each $2.90 each
HomeReel, Starter $39.99 for 4, then Pro $79.99 for 10 $20.00 each $16.00 each $8.00 each
Reel-E, Essential $59 for 3, then Growth $129 for 10 $29.50 each $25.80 each $12.90 each
MotionCasa, $19 each or packs of 3 ($49) and 7 ($99) $19.00 each $17.40 each $14.80 each
Amplifiles, 12 photos at $1.50 $18.00 each $18.00 each $18.00 each

The pattern: subscriptions get cheaper per listing as your volume fills the plan, while per-listing and per-photo pricing stays flat. At one listing every month or two, a pay-per-listing option or a free tier usually costs least. Annual billing lowers some of these further; Reel-E's Essential drops to $44 a month and VideoTour.ai lists 30% off annual plans.

Can I get a listing video for free?

Yes, if you trade time for money.

  • Phone slideshow. A free app such as iMovie turns photos into a pan-and-zoom slideshow. It's quick for one listing but reads as a slideshow.
  • Canva template. Canva's free plan has templates. You place each photo and type each detail yourself.
  • Film it yourself. A phone walkthrough costs nothing, but it takes a steady hand, good light and editing time.
  • Free tiers and trials. As of October 2026, VideoTour.ai offers 1 free video with no card, HeyGen 3 watermarked videos a month up to 1 minute, BetterSpace 2 videos a month, and vProp 50 free credits for up to 5 videos (VideoTour.ai, HeyGen, BetterSpace, vProp). HomeReel's free videos carry a watermark (HomeReel). VidListings gives 2 free videos of up to 15 seconds, with a watermark and no card needed.

Free tiers are fine for testing. For every listing, the watermark or the monthly cap usually pushes you to a paid plan.

How do I pick the cheapest tool for my listings?

  1. Count your listings. Fewer than two a month: look at per-listing pricing or a free tier. Steady volume: a subscription you'll fill.
  2. Decide if you need a voiceover. If yes, pick a tool that has one. Reel-E, Amplifiles, BetterSpace, Listing Reel Maker, HeyGen and vProp list voiceover on their sites. VidListings doesn't have a voiceover or automatic captions.
  3. Decide if you want link import. Pasting a listing link saves downloading photos each time. VidListings, HomeReel, Amplifiles, BetterSpace, Listing Reel Maker, HeyGen and PropWalk take a Zillow link, according to their sites.
  4. Check the watermark and output. Make sure the plan you'd actually pay for has no watermark and exports the shapes you post: 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9.
  5. Test on a hard photo. Try a room with mirrors or big windows before you commit. For a wider list of options, see our roundup of AI tools for real estate agents.

Is the cheapest video always the best deal?

No. Per-video cost isn't everything: check every clip for invented details. AI motion can add or change things in a room, and some tools say so. MotionCasa's site notes that AI may alter rooms, geometry and details (MotionCasa). A clip that shows a feature the home doesn't have can mislead buyers, and the NAR Code of Ethics (Standard of Practice 12-10) bans misleading images.

So budget a few minutes to watch each clip full screen next to the original photo, and redo any that drift. If a tool charges credits for every redo, your real cost per listing is higher than the table shows. Our guide to AI real estate videos has a short review checklist.

Where does VidListings fit?

VidListings turns listing photos into a video: paste a link from Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin and a few international portals, or upload 5 to 30 photos. Each photo becomes a 3-second clip with an AI camera move that moves the real photo, and you can redo a single clip if one looks off.

  • Free trial: 2 videos of up to 15 seconds each, with a watermark and no card needed.
  • Paid plans: monthly plans that differ only in videos per month. Every plan has every feature and no watermark, and you keep your videos if you cancel. See pricing.
  • What it lacks: no voiceover and no automatic captions.
